Amazing season for the Aussie, reaching the semis in the French Open, winning her 1st WTA singles title and reaching career-high ranking at #13

The slump of Puchkova continued in 2009 and she keeps losing places in the rankigs. Too bad because she's one of the prettiest players.

After a 3-year slump, the Spanish finally got back to her best level and climbed from #359 to #93.
42- Mathilde Johansson (#125, FRA)
The cute French wasn't able to repeat her 2008 Top-100 finish.
41- Kristina Antoniychuk (#212, UKR)
The 19 y.o. Ukranian keeps a good progression and reached her career-high ranking at #212. She has the looks to become a star.
