The Slovak-born Australian Jarmila Groth (former Gajdosova) is the highest new entry in our list after a fantastic 2010 season, winning her first WTA title in Guangzhou and breaking into the Top-50. And she has started 2011 in a great way too, winning her 2nd WTA title at Hobart and climbing to #31.
