In spite of her 7th consecutive Top-40 finish and her 9th WTA title (Marbella), Pennetta couldn't repeat her successful 2008 and 2009 seasons in singles. Nevertheless, together with Gisela Dulko, she completed a fantastic season in doubles wining 7 titles and reaching doubles #1. And in 2011 they have won their first Grand Slam title at the Australian Open.
