Week #9: Bartoli wins in Monterrey

French Marion Bartoli won the 4th WTA title in her career in Monterrey, after defeating Chinese Na Li in the final. Bartoli, who dropped only one set in the tournament, was a nightmare for Chinese players, as she had previously defeated 4th seed Jie Zheng in the semis. In the upper half of the draw, unseeded Na Li upsetted 1st seed Agnieszka Radwanska in the 1st round and progressed to the final after defeating Czechs Petra Cetkovska, Lucie Safarova and Iveta Benesova.
