Amelie Mauresmo, who got the coveted diamond-studded racket last year after her three straight titles at Antwerp, won't be defending her title. But this time Belgian fans will enjoy world #1 and local hero Justine Henin, who will be the favorite for the title. Paris finalists Anna Chakvetadze and Agnes Szavay, Daniela Hantuchova, Patty Schnyder and Na Li will complete a great field.

Viña del Mar (CHI), Tier III, $200,000

New tournament held in Chile, which will feature all the clay specialists in the beggining of South American clay mini-season. Flavia Pennetta and Gisela Dulko are the top seeds and the main contenders for the title
