Big two-week Tier I tournaments will take place in March in USA in Indian Wells and Miami. Despite the absence of world #1 Justine Henin and the Williams sisters, the Californian tournament will feature 4 of the Top 5 players. Top favorite will be Maria Sharapova who remains unbeated this season so far. Svetlana Kuznetsova, Jelena Jankovic, Ana Ivanovic and defending champion Daniela Hantuchova will be among the favorites too. And also interesting will be to watch the performance of Lindsay Davenport finally playing a big tournament.
